it's very important to identify NOUN for a person/pet/object/place.
For "na" group
Sakura wa kirei desu ---> Sakura wa kirei na hana desu.
Sakura is beautiful ---> Sakura is a beautiful flower.

Sunway Lagoon wa suteki na tokoro desu.
Sunway Lagoon is an awesome place.

                          Can add totemo = very / great
Himura-san wa totemo hansamu na hito desu.
Mr Himura is a very handsome person.

For "i" group
Fuji-san wa takai desu ---> Fuji-san wa takai yama desu.
Mt Fuji is high ---> Mt Fuji is a high mountain.

Sushi wa oishii tabemono desu.
Sushi is a delicious food.


Looks easy for "i" group? wait until you learn for the negative version

For "na" group
Kuala Lumpur wa shizuka na machi jya arimasen.
Kuala Lumpur is not a quiet city.
--> Nigiyaka (lively)

Ashita wa hima jya arimasen.
I'm not free (available) tomorrow.

For "i" group
** remove 1 i and add "kunai"

Yubiwa wa takakunai desu (root word is takai for expensive)
Ring is not expensive.
--> Yasui (cheap)

                          Can add amari = not so / not really / not very
Furansu wa amari samukunai desu (root word is samui for cold)
France is not so cold.
--> Atsui (hot weather)

*** + noun
Ookikunai daigaku (root word is ookii for big/large)
Ookii daigaku jya arimasen
Not a big university
--> Chiisai (small)


negative version for past tense

For "na" group
Inaka wa shizuka jya arimasen deshita.
Village/home town was not quiet.

For "i" group
** remove 1 i and add "katta" desu
Jitensya wa atarashikatta desu
Bicycle was not new.


SPECIAL CASE

ii --> change to yoi (good)
not good ... yokunai desu
was good ... yokatta desu
wasn't good ... yokunakatta desu

Now, we combine all NOUN + ADJECTIVE + VERB 

Atarashii kuruma o kaimashita.....I bought a new car.
Yama de kirei na hana o mimashita.....I watched beautiful flower at the mountain.
Kinou no ban yuumei na resutoran de tabemashita.....I ate at the famous restaurant yesterday evening.
Tomodachi ni takai fuku o karimashita.....I borrowed an expensive cloth from a friend.
