after nearly 2years Battlestar Galactica @ Universal Studio Singapore closed for maintenance, finally re-open!!! hoyeahhh rindu nye nak naik roller coaster ni

and... i would like to promote a brand new ride named Puss in Boots' Giant Journey. Oh, rails dia kaler hijau laaa sebab nak sama warna dgn beanstalk. 

i miss this naughty MEOWW!!!

UPDATE : experienced the ride last June 2017 with my parents.

FAM Trip : USS

Masihkah kau ingat... previously i did mentioned about the invitation from Resort World Sentosa (RWS) for the Lightseeker Preview... ehem2, the introduction was nice. i really wish i can watch the full version :( tp xde masa la plak nak pegi Singapore lg even the SHOW ticket has been extended till 15th Dec 2013.

soon after i returned from Cameron Highlands on 17th Nov, back to work on 18th November (it's my birthday!), then proceed for another trip to USS on 19th Nov. penat weyhhh!

on that morning, i took a cab to the assemble point at Wisma Genting. departed by bus with other travel agents. breakfast stop at R&R Nilai. lunch stop at Gelang Patah before the bus entered Singapore by using Malaysia-Singapore Second Link at 2pm. done the immigration, yeay! i got my 1st stamping on my new passport

ok, now RWS has become an integrated resort. mcm2 ada... besides USS, they also have SEA Aquarium, Adventure Cove Waterpark, Dolphin Island and MEMA. and im interested with one of the entertainments : the Crane Dance (this one is AWESOME!!) from 9pm at the waterfront... 

i've won a ticket to USS after answering the very-1st-question huhu. the question was "which Ultimate Marine Encounter is offering guest for diving?" i quickly raise my hand (only myself know the answer huhu)  and answered "it is Open Ocean Dive!". besides Open Ocean Dive, the Ultimate Marine Encounters also offers Ray Bay (plus feeding), Sea Trek Adventure as well as Shark Encounter. oh ya, there's Ocean Restaurant available, where guest can view the underwater while dining because the restaurant is located inside the SEA Aquarium

after that briefing, we went out to inspect :~

Adventure Cove Waterpark - slides, snorkel & rip rude rocket

did you know? Leopard Whipray (Himantura Undulata) are viviparous (producing living young instead of eggs). the young are born at 20cm wide and grow at least 140cm across their wings.

Dolphin Island - discovery, observe, adventure (swim with the Dolphin) and underwater trekking.

ok, actually the Waterpark, Stringray Aquarium and Dolphin and are located at the same area (not too far from USS); when we entered the Adventure Cove Waterpark, we can see the waterpark already. and at the right side is the Stringray place and the waterpark visitors can see the stringray aquarium while swimming at the manmade river. but we need to purchase another ticket if we want to go inside the Dolphin area.

by the way, when i was there, both Battlestar Galactica Human & Cyclon rides does NOT operated. what did i heard from my colleague, the roller coaster does not operated since August 2013... knape yek? dah x selamat ker??

anyway, the Sesame Street (Space Chase) is already opens and there's Minion from Despicable Me joins for the Hollywood Dream Parade since December 2013. and i also heard bout the Bubble Gum Pop Countdown and Snow Fall programs also on last December 2013

dulu (May2011), i went to USS with my besties.. this year, with all my colleagues. actually this is our company trip, dah lama ktrg x buat company trip. last time , mase aku mula2 start keje (Jan 2009) dorg organize kat Bukit Tinggi Pahang... bru perasan yg aku xde buat entry psl tu.. huhu time tu lum berjinak2 dgn blog lg. ok, malas nk taip pjg2. Wahhh dgn rasa bangga dan xhengat dunia, aku habaq kat 1 office yg aku dah pegi Universal Studio Singapore!!!! skali boss aku leh ckp "alahhh i dah pegi Universal Studio kat US, kat S'pore tu apalah sgt...." dushh2.. skrg malu xhengat plak. xpe... staff2 lain sume lum pegi. still ada chance nk berlagak. ngeh3

ni 1st tym aku jenjalan overseas tanpa tajaan sesiapa. apply cuti n sebaek boss approved (t'paksa approve cz aku ckp dah book flight tkt). naek Air Asia le cz nk murah.. xsmpai 2rat pegi balik. flight kesana 1 jam jek. view dr atas rase cm best plak. cz flight terbang rendah. i can see a plenty of small islands down there. wondered "tu pulau ape? tu pulau2 m'sia ke pulau s'pore??? kite lalu mane neh???"  hmmmmm ntahlaaaa

smpai2 kt Changi Airport (airport dia besar sgt ada Terminal 1-3, leh naek free SkyTrain cm train kt KLIA yg leh pegi ke satellit building tu), tour guide yg bernama En. Mohd tu bwk ktrg pusing2. tp cover timur S'pore jek. airport ni belah timur. from airport to town x smpai half an hour pon. klu belah barat, ada mcm2 such as Jurong Birdpark bla bla bla .. not interested, cz ktrg nk cover centre (town) and south of S'pore >>> USS kat Sentosa Island tu ler.

• Orchard Rd. Shopping branded items like LV, Gucci kat Paragon; kwn aku ckp perfume murah2. Hard Rock dia jaoh, mls nk jln. Lucky plaza - Indonesian goods, ayam penyet byk kt sini.
• Suntec City. shopping mall under ground. S'pore xbyk tnh even dorg tambak (mcm Melaka gaks), so they all tend to have mall / MRT bwh tnh. suntec ni menarik cz inspirasi dr 'tangan'. tower 1-5 represent jari ibu ke kelingking kite. something like that.
• Chinatown. for me ni tmp utk shopping borong. ie: 36 pcs keychain only 10 Sin Dollar. murahhhh kan?

hmmm aku duk kat Santa Grand Bugis, Jln Kubor. 3star hotel jek tp sgt2 satisfied. ada roof-top pool + free internet + breakfast + bathtub + gym. hotel ni dkt dgn:

Murtabak S'pore plg best kt Zam2 Rstn @ SGD 7 each only. byk kedai kain. ada Sultan mosque, Istana Kmpg Glam (Museum actually, tp xdpt msok cz under renovation Y_Y . luar ada something yg i can call "vandalism". tp mostly menarik, maybe b'kaitan dgn something dlm museum ittew..
• Bugis Village. shop souvenir. variety + got quality compared Chinatown
• Kandahar & Bussorah St. jln punye jln pye jln jumpe tmp nih. ada kdai2 jual souvenir gaks. then, plg best - Children Little Museum. ada brg antique and items tym kite kecik2. meja kusi zmn skolah rendah, botol air, ceper, snpang kayu buatan sndirik... etc best cz t'igt zmn knk2 dlu
• Mustafa Centre / Little India. lebey kurg cm Mydin le

S'pore mmg x dinafikan sgt2 canggih. electronic devices pon murah kat sini. impress dgn CCTV yg merata2 kat sana. that's why xde crime kat S'pore. and pompuan2 kat sini sume terjaga. pkai la sexy cmne pon, klu kena touch sket jek that guy leh kena sebatan / msok lock-up. sounds strict, tp bgus. klu kat jln raya tuh, xleh sesuka hati benti tepi jln. even nk pick up calls pon xleh. within a minute, nnt police smpai n ready la kena fine. benefit dia plak, in case kete u break down, within a minute bantuan smpai. towing kete u troz, xyah susah2 call bengkel. best kan? S'pore is a small island. so, they all ada prob ngan land constraint. sbb tu dorg wat bgunan tinggi2, tambak and skunk sume wat underground. MRT bwh tanah, shopping mall bwh tnh mcm Suntec; etc. tp convenience la. dorg pon ada cm Smart Tunnel. jln raya bwh tnh from east to west of S'pore, vice versa. suke gak tgok harbour dia. sgt2 busy, sgt2 byk kapal2 besar. t'ingat sejarah melaka....



pls take note: no chewing gum allowed - klu x kena fine. no littering. and pls be punctual. local people sume jln cepat (even the escalator pon laju2), sgt2 x friendly, and x busy body. (ishhh terkena btg idong sendirik)

MRT dia sgtx10 convenience, cheap and user friendly. Every 1 minute next train smpai. xde nye nk tgu lame. Tp full tu full jugakla, xleh wat pe. Mcm dr hotel aku duk tu, Bugis Station nk ke Orchard Rd for example, fare dlm 1 dollar 50 cent only. Standard la kan. Klu train kat M’sia, kt ats pintu jz ade station mane train / bus lalu. Yg MRT siap ada lampu. Yg dah lalu lampu kaler ijao. Yg dah nk smpai lmpu kaler merah. Sgt sng especially klu tertido dlm train. Bgon2 jek “eh, dah kat ne ni? Ohhh dah smpai Dhoby Ghaut…” cthnyer. Laluan mane, they all pkai kaler. Lebe kurg cm train kt M’sia cm LRT Star / Putra / Monorail / Komuter etc, tp in S’pore pkai kaler purple, orange, ijao and merah. Sume ada interconnecting.

Dr Bugis, I need to take a train to Harbourfront, tukar train kat Outram Park. Then kt Harbourfront tu, ada 1 mall named Vivo City, naek 3^rd floor then amek other train kat situ (Sentosa Station) to USS @ SGD 3 sorg utk return tkt. igt nk try cable car tp terasa mahal. 25 dollar sorg. Aishhh lari budget. Xpela no thanks, better aku save duet utk shopping at USS.

USS bukak dr kul 10 am to 7 pm. Tmp dia in circle. Ikut advise kakak aku, better amek kiri. So after lalu Hollywood, ktrg ke….

Ø      Madagascar. Naek merry-go-round tp name dia King Julien’s beach party-go-round. Suke cite Madagascar ni. Dpt bergambo ngan ptung2 dia. Ada kapal besarrrr.

Ø      Far far away. Ada Shrek pye rumah – ogre house. Naek Enchanted Airways - roller coaster. Watched Donkey Live!. Wonder cmne dia buat donkey dlm screen tu communicate dgn org kt luar. Bkn record tau… and best-ever-part : Shrek 4D. suke tym kena percik air, rasa labah2 naik kaki, rasa cm tunggang kete kuda btol.. and cite tu sgt2 interesting. I like 4D! huhu 

Ø      Lost world. Jurassic Park. Due to technical prob, xdpr nek JP rapids adventure and canopy flyer.. alaaa. Tp sebaek ada WaterWorld. Mat salleh berlakon. Real r siap ada letup2, maen api, n sape duk tmp “soak” confirm basah either kena simbah or splash dr jet ski yg mmg purposely nk wat audience basah..

Ø      Ancient Egypt. Pyramid and mummy… Revenge of d Mummy roller coaster indoor pye sgt2 best. Scaryyyy and surprising ada backward. 1^st tym roller coaster ada mengundur. Have our lunch kat Oasis Spice Café, xmahal sgt. Standard price. Ada 6 Halal rstn kat USS ni including this one. Treasure Hunters boring … tp since nk rest dlu after mkn n before nk naek roller coaster yg super duper scaryyyy, layannn bnda alah ni. B’gmbo dgn “pharoah” means firaun pye guard sgt2 menakutkan. Dia staring and buat bunyik yg aku ssh nk explain. ngheee

Ø      Sci-fi city. Yeahuuuuu!!!! Naek Battlestar Galactica HUMAN & CYLON terbaiiikkk aku pnah naek. Neves giler smpai asik terpikir “btolke ape aku buat ni?? Xkn nk withdraw kot? aishhhh. Sgtx10 laju from beginning lg. tapi… sgtx20 bestt!!!. Roller coaster ni berkembar, human kaler merah, while cylon kaler biru. Gerak serentak. Mse memule leh lambai tgan kat roller coaster sblh. Lps dah grak… nk lps tgan pon x beranii tau. I lurve roller coaster

Ø      New york. Enjoyed Steven Spielberg pye “Lights Camera Action”. Impressed dgn effects yg dia pkai n sgt kagum sgt movie2 yg dia buat. Plg best, laut kat luar tingkat bergelora, mcm real. N then tingkap pon boleh t’tanggal?? Gile scaryyy.. last skali boat besar almost nk langgar ktrg audience yg tgok dr tebing nih.. uhhh mengucap!!.

Ø      Hollywood ni mcm rase g US. Tgok monster musical (theater). Layan pakwe2 hensem nyanyi lagu2 60's. shop USS merchandise. Xde la mahal sgt. Affordable prices.

Sgt enjoy cz x ramai org, x queue sgt. Panasss yg amat. Alhamdulillah x ujan. Yg plg terkilan, xdpt nk b’gmbo ngan globe Universal Studio yg berpusing2 tuh YY under renovation le pulek.. Sgt2 enjoy trip ke S’pore neh. Wish dpt pegi lg
