As for today, I would like to share my experience of renewing passport and driving license. Well, every day we hear the song of "UTC... UTC... Pusat Pelbagai Perkhidmatan, Berkhidmat Untuk Rakyat, Pusat Transformasi Bandar... lalalala" and i've done my passport, license, IC and Zakat here.

UTC is actually stands for Urban Transformation Center.. wa sangat suke ini tempat woo. One-stop centre wa cakap sama lu. Before this, I need to go all the way to Shah Alam when I was applying my 1^st passport (tu jek tempat aku tau sbb dulu duk Shah Alam 3tahun), and JPJ in PJ for renewing my driving license (Post office x boleh renew sbb masih 'P' -.-')

 

My original plan was à I want to apply leave (cuti banyaakk lagi, apa mau bikin?) on 

18^th November; seeing doctor for my follow-up treatment in the morning, renew my passport and license in the afternoon, fetch my boyfriend at the airport (yeay! dia nk blk dr offshore) in the evening and then celebrating my 28th birthday together-gather.

but.... suddenly on last 12^th Nov, my boss assign me to attend a FAM Trip organized by Resort World Sentosa on 19-20^th next week. alaaahai En Boss, passport sy da mati la. The other day pegi Phuket pon ngam2 6 mths validity. plus, this weekend i'll be away to Cameron Highland. 

x sempat loh! hmmmm well, fine! aku kan best employee and wonder woman. mesti boleh! This is the time when google and friends are needed~ hihihi for gaining information la of course. Especially when things become last minute like this, I can’t just gamble renew my documents without doing any research. 

After finishing my urgent job and getting approval from our MD on 13^th Nov, I rushed to UTC, Puduraya. It’s afternoon already and NO parking -.-‘!! So, I parked my car at the hospital area, then i need to walk about 100m to Pudu. Take an elevator to 2^nd floor, entering the UTC place. Ok, then I saw IMMIGRATION counter, take a number… mine is #1320, current no is #1181.. another 139 to go… take a new photo at the photo shop. As for the new passport, the immigration only accept a picture with white as the background, with the dark cloth. Luckily I was wearing dark blue tudung. The cost is RM12 for 6pcs of photo. NO more photo with blue background. For renewing, there's no need to fill-up the 2-pages form, the small one will do. no need IC copy, but original IC is a must. I heard the new procedure is because of 'Biometric' that relates with the Japan Visa.

Ok, I still have a plenty time before my turn. Hence, I went to JPJ Office next to Immigration Office. Take the number #2398, however the server was down. It’s ok, I can wait. It’s so boring cause I was all alone. Then, I took a number at JPN. I think I’m gonna renew my IC as well. Hihihi ngade2 jek. Changed my home address and get a new photo on my new IC. Ok, what else I can do? Oh ya, PPZ for my Zakat. What I can conclude here, UTC is totally one-stop centre, and I’m totally satisfied; except for the parking facilities. 

Managed to get my new license and new passport before 7pm. yeah, I’ve been there for 5hours, patiently. But while waiting, I keep busying myself to withdraw money (nak mentioned ada ATM machine la kat situ) and managed to buy Singapore Dolar (SGD) at the money changer… SGD is a bit high lately, the BSR was 2.59. Luckily I still have SGD18.65 ß balance money from last USS trip. SGD50 should be enough, equal to RM 129.50. mahalnye duet Sin Dolar skrg neh -.-‘

Ok, Singapore… here I come!!!

  

What’s next? Cameron Highlands trip with my beloved family *thanks Felda*; meeting Mr. Doctor – hoping my thyroid is getting better; 1^st time for the facial treatment for my FREE redemption as Alliance Credit Card customer @ Body Perfect; last but not least, dating time on my birthday!!! ~ feeling excited *wink wink*

i would like to say thank you and good bye to my old passport ;( with all the wonderful stamps on it. i'm gonna miss you....

i like my driving license the most... cantik! but soon, i'll change my home address... have to move out next year due DBKL increase the "cukai pintu".. looking forward any house to rent in S'or area. i dont like the new passport, the black n white photo seems like "gambar orang cina mati" and my new IC... oh my dark circle! *sigh

UPDATE : sekarang dah tak payah buat gambar passport =)
                   and the new rate is RM 200 for 5 years passport validity
