aji also include in i group
hence, negative statement will add kunai
e.g : amakunai = not sweet

------------------------------how------------------------------

Dou = how

Question : OBJECT wa dou desu ka

Example : Kono o-cha wa dou desu ka.....How's that green tea?
Answer  : Atsui desu.....It's hot.

Question : Nihon no seikatsu wa dou desu ka.....How's life in Japan?
Answer   : Mainichi totemo tanoshii desu.....Everyday great/very enjoyable/fun.

For positive + positive statement; can add soshite = also
Example : Shukudou no tabemono wa oishii desu, soshite yasui desu.
Translate : Canteen/dining's food is delicious, also cheap.

For positive + negative statement; can add ga = but
Example : Kyo no shigoto wa isogashii desu ga omoshiroi desu.
Translate : Today's work is busy but interesting.

Example : Sunway Lagoon wa tanoshii desu ga takai desu.

FYI, omoshiroi (interesting), isogashii (busy) and tanoshii (fun/enjoyable) also include in i group

Hence, the past tense will add katta
such as Ryokou wa tanashikatta desu ka?... Did you enjoyed the trip?

While the negative statement will add kunai
Durama wa omoshirokunai desu... The drama is not interesting

Negative past tense, add both kunai & katta
