Jeju, South Korea - Part II

After ate so much Rendang on Eid Mubarak since last Sunday; here I'm back on track to continue my previous entry of "So Much Fun in Jeju". And, not to forget "Places to eat while in Jeju"...

Like I mentioned before, Jeju Island was formed through volcanic activities since 2 million years ago. Believe it or not, these 4 places I went last December are naturally made by the lava.

Jusang Jeolli Cliff
These hexagonal rocks are produced by cooling lava. Some rocks with 5 sides (pentagon), but mostly are 6 sides (hexagon). There are 4 other places in Jeju has these hexagonal shape of rocks. And apart from Jeju, there are 10 other places in the World has it, and the famous one is in Ireland.

Oedolgae Rock
This General-look-alike rock is seems guarding the island from any harm came from the sea.
Oedolgae means "lonely", thus this Oedolgae Rock means "Lone Rock Pillar".
Thanks General!

Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls
There are 2 main entrances to see the waterfalls. And there are 3 beautiful waterfalls here with crystal clear water. Exhausted after climbing so many stairs? Don't worry, there's pipe where the fresh drinking water came from the waterfall. Yeap, it's drinkable. Here, at Cheonjeyeon Waterfall, you may also find the hexagonal rocks. And there is Seonimgyo Bridge, a very long and high bridge where you can get a better view of Hallasan Mountain and also a beautiful river beneath it.

Yongduam Rock
close up
Yongduam means "Dragon Head". You may read the history/myth from the internet or what has been written on the rock including the "wishing rock" thingy. But the thing I wanted to highlight here is at this tourist attraction, there's a shop where you may find HALAL Chocolate Tangerine.
