Update!

Those who has been followed my page, must be wondering.. where have I been? why so silent?

My last entry was posted on 8th October, and on 12th October..

I've started my new job at Lazada Malaysia as one of the advisors in Customer Service.

From the interview stage till duty on the floor ain't easy. Seriously!

Although it was a fun process, but it was really hectic, tiring and stressful.

That's why for the first time in my life, I'm giving up on something.

But don't judge me so fast. Of course, I have a back-up plan.

Alhamdulillah, my application to pursue Master under MARA program has been approved.

Back to school, guy!

Pray for me XOXO

"How many" in Japanese is depending on Object or Person (please refer Lesson 10.2 and Lesson 10.3)

OBJECT ga IKUTSU/NAN-MAI/NAN-DAI arimasu ka

Kyodai wa 5-nin [ga] imasu
~ ani [ga] hitori to ane [ga] futari to imouto hitori to otouto hitori ga imasu
I've 5 siblings
~ 1 elder brother & 2 elder sisters & 1 younger sister & 1 younger brother

Special case :-
The only child (anak tunggal) : Hitori dake desu
I've no children : Kodomo ga imasen

----------

Other example:-

Kyoshitsu [no naka] de nan-nin ga imasu ka

Pemandulan Kucing

Few days ago I'd read one article saying that those stray cats in Malaysia will be/has been captured by our City Council for Euthanasia (an action taken to end the life of a person or animal). As a cat lover, of course I don't want this to happen. But I also don't want to see those stray cats starving, begging for food, get contagious disease (probably from drainage) or even worst; get hit by car.

Photo taken from Facebook   T_T

I can understand that the number of this cute animal is keep increasing since one mother of cat can produce at least 5-7 kitten at one time. Overbreed! Hence, I've adopted two stray cats. One is mix Maine Coon and another one is domestic short hair. And based on veterinary's standard of procedure; I've neutered them both.

For the male cat, the neuter process is called CASTRATION, around RM 70/cat; and SPAYING is the term for female cat that can cost you around RM 120. They said the rate for female cat is higher because of the harder procedure. Above rate are subject; and at a private clinic near to my place, it is already inclusive with 2 nights of boarding. It's better to let the cat under doctor's surveillance right after surgery.

Before send your cat for neuter, there are few conditions need to follow:

  • The cat must be at least 6 months old
  • Healthy and at least 2kg and above
  • Free from ectoparasite (lice, mite, flea) or any harm disease
  • The cat already had a complete vaccine
    • At least a week after the second vaccine
  • Strictly prohibited for a pregnant cat!
  • After neuter, must keep the male cat in the cage for 10days while 14days for a female cat (but there's no need to cage if your cat is the only cat at home. Caged is just to make sure that the cat does not mating too soon/before recovering)

~We are not going to harm these innocent animals,
we just want to control the numbers~

Photo taken 4-days after spaying

Just done the spaying to my cat last week. And Alhamdulillah, Bella had fast recovery and stay active. I put her in a cage for couple hours only. According to the doctor, there are extra care after surgery in order to avoid any infection or bleeding. Don't put the sand at their litter box, instead just put a wee wee pad (to avoid those tiny sand into the wound) or try any other material; limit the active activities such as climbing and jumping and no showering for a week. Of course the cat will lick the wound, so it is advisable to wear them a collar - the best if you can get the pillow collar.

This cat is not mine
I joined a group in Facebook named Maine Coons Malaysia ( PureBreed ) and a guy shared his bad experience spayed his cat at one unprofessional clinic. End up, the clinic returned his cat on the same day after procedure and his cat was still unconscious probably due to anesthesia. Of course we have lack of knowledge on how to handle this kind of situation. Poor cat and literally, poor the owner too.

Japanese Language is FUN! - Lesson 10.1

Another word that using "ga" character besides those in Lesson 9 is "arimasu" means has / have.

But "arimasu" is NOT for people or other living creature such as pet. For that, we are going to use "imasu" instead.

For instance;
Shiken ga arimasu... I have an examination.
Komakai o-kane ga arimasen... I don't have small change / coins.
** O-kane = money

Neko ga imasu... I have a cat
Kodomo ga imasen... I don't have a child

.................................................................

Let's add some verbs and "kara" = because (refer Lesson 9)

E.g : O-kane ga arimasu kara, atarashii tokei o kaimashita
Because I have money, I bought a new watch

E.g : Kuruma ga arimasen kara, doko mo ikimasen
Because I don't have a car, I'm not going anywhere

E.g : Kaigi ga arimasu kara, hiru yasumi o shimasen
Because I have meeting, I didn't lunch break

E.g : Jikan ga arimasen kara, Nihon he ikimasen
Because I don't have time, I didn't go to Japan

Other famous reasons or excuses:-

Isogashii desu kara = Because I'm busy
Genki jya arimasen kara = Because I'm not well
Atsui kara = Because of hot weather :-)

Youji ga arimasu = I have something to do / plan / errand
Yakusoku ga arimasu = I have an appointment / promise
Arubaito ga arimasu = I have part time job / extra job

I'm FREE! (hima)
Youji ga arimasen = I have NO plan
Yakusoku ga arimasen = I have NO appointment
Arubaito ga arimasen = I have NO part time job

-------------------------------------------------

Can ask in details:-

A : Watashi wa getsu-youbi youji ga arimasu... I've plan on Monday
B : Donna youji ga arimasu ka... What kind of plan?
A : 9-ji byoin he ikimasu... I'm going to hospital at 9am.
