Siakap steam


Siakap Stim Limau

Senang sangat masak Siakap Stim Limau ni. Kalau makan di kedai, kadang-kadang harga seekor ikan saiz sederhana (sesuai untuk 2-3 orang makan) boleh cecah harga RM 30-35. Padahal seekor/satu kilogram ikan siakap baru berharga RM 14-15 sahaja. 

Bahan-bahan diperlukan:

  • Ikan Siakap x 1 ekor 
  • Lemon / Limau x 1biji
  • Halia 2inch
  • Bawang putih 3-5ulas
  • Cili Api x 2-3 biji
  • Daun Ketumbar
  • Kiub Ayam x 1kiub 
  • Serai x 2-3 batang

Bahan-bahan kat atas ni ikut selera masing-masing la kan. #tasteissubjective

Pastikan ikan sudah disiang dan betul2 dah dibuang sisik. Sebelum mula memasak, aku akan lumur ikan dengan asam jawa dulu dan biar kira-kira setengah jam ke sejam untuk kurang/hilangkan bau hanyir ikan. Stim ikan menggunakan pengukus (steamer) dalam 30minit hingga masak. Boleh juga kalau nak alas dengan daun pisang.

Untuk kuah pula; hiris lemon bulat-bulat, dan yang bahagian hujung tu diperah (pakai lemon squeezer) ke dalam periuk kecil. Masukkan hirisan halia, bawang putih, cili api dan daun ketumbar; tapi tak perlu hiris halus sangat. Titik serai dan masukkan ke dalam periuk. Masukkan kiub ayam (pastikan Halal). Masak sehingga didih.

Keluarkan ikan dari pengukus, transfer ke pinggan lebar. Tuang kuah dari periuk ke atas ikan. Siap!

Easy way to make Pumpkin Soup

Pumpkin soup recipe
Just need to prepare these 5 items :-
Pumpkin
Black pepper
Salt
Full cream milk
Onion

How to transform above items into this?
Pumpkin soup

First of all, clean the pumpkin, cut off the shell, chop into medium size and boil it for 15-20mins till soft.
Meanwhile, slice some onion(s) and deep fry them. *fried onions*
Place all the boiled pumpkin into blender.
Pour in a little (just little) of boiled water from the pot.
Pour some full cream milk.
Add some black pepper and pinch of salt.
Blend all together.
Done!! Pour to a bowl and ready to serve.

Put the fried onions and some scallions (optional) as garnish.
Serve with toast.

Suitable for appetizer, simple breakfast menu, hi-tea or even nice warm meal on a rainy day.
