Well, pagi tadi aku sahur Sardine jek sebab for the 1st day of Ramadhan every year memang selera nak makan sardine jek time pagi2 buta. esok lusa kita mamam benda lain pulak ye. dah mula terpikir, lepas kahwin nanti aku kena ada list of 100 dishes to cook for Sahur and Iftaar. haruslah masak yang sedap2 untuk family terchenta, kan. okey, la ni nak ceritera pasal event aku organized last Sunday, bersamaan 14th June 2015. A birthday party for my lovely Mak (6th June), Abah (9th June), my nephew (13th June) and my brother in law (10th June) together with my Abah's retirement day. yeap, my dad dah 60 tahun dah.. my sista pon dah lama tak buat birthday party untuk anak bujang dia yang sorang tu. and since aku dah moved to a better and bigger house, I think why not I arrange for a "makan-makan"... in addition, masak sendirik is more money saving compare kalau makan kat kedai

A night before, aku buat 'Agar-Agar Laici' - honestly that was my 1st attempt. I just follow the similar recipe I found in the internet. But as for the result, Agar-Agar tu agak keras. mak cakap, manis tu dah ok sangat, but i should put more water. my great mom told me her tips (diturunkan dari mertua dia), nisbah or the ratio of Agar-Agar and plain water must be 1:3. Thanks Mak, for the advise. nanti orang buat lagi yek. Wanna know how to cook "Agar-Agar Laici?" here's my own recipe with a bit alteration:-
Resepi Agar-Agar Laici
First of all, campak masak 1 packet of Agar-Agar in a hot pot, add 3 cup of plain water plus air laici dalam tin (air sahaja) and also add 4 teaspoon of sugar. aku takde gula halus, pakai gula kasar jek. tunggu Agar-Agar tu cair and keep stirring sebab texture Agar-Agar tu agak likat, dia melekat2 kat periuk tu. (honestly, aku stir kadang2 je sebab masak Agar-Agar ni agak lama jugak nak tunggu dia boil. sambil-sambil layan cerita Korea). Selepas dah mendidih, masukkan 1 tin of evaporated milk a.k.a Susu Cair "Ideal". Stir lagi sampai mendidih. then, tada! dah siap. tuang semua ke dalam bekas, tabur minced buah laici kat atas dia dan sejukkan dalam peti ais.
Pagi tu pulak, aku masak Meehon Goreng dan goreng frozen Karipap jek for my family. Terus menerus prepare untuk masak makan besar. Seriously tiring. Boleh tahan jugak ye sehari suntuk berkung-fu kat dapur tuh. Aku buat air Sarsi + minced Cincau satu bekas besar, masak Meehon Tomyam Ayam (kurang pedas special for my nephew yang tak makan pedas langsong), Nasi Lemak + Sambal Sotong + Sambal Udang Petai, Ketam Masak Lemak Cili Api and Ketam Masak Telur Masin. yumyummy tummy!

Nak tau resepi Ketam Masak Telur Masin yang sedap giler tak? hihi
Bahan-bahan : Ketam + Salted Eggs + Butter + Daun Kari + Garlic + Chili + Evaporated Milk.
As for preparation, bersihkan ketam and cut into 2 pieces. Gaul dengan sedikit tepung jagung + lada sulah. And then, goreng ketam sampai masak dan asingkan. Asingkan juga kuning dan putih telur masin dan hancurkan.
Panaskan kuali dan cairkan dalam 2 sudu butter. Masukkan dalam 2 ulas bawang putih yang sudah dititik, campak dalam 5-6 helai daun kari dan 2-3 tangkai cili api. Tunggu sampai naik bau, masukkan dalam 2 sudu kuning telur masin dulu pastu masukkan 2 sudu putih telur masin pulak dan kacau sebati. Masukkan 5-6 sudu Susu Cair (letak lebih sket pon takpe, masakan jadik basah2 sket. Kalau kering sangat pon tak sedap). Kacau sebati sampai sedikit kering, then masukkan 3-4 pcs ketam yang telah digoreng tadi tu. Kacau rata dan siap! tak payah letak garam, sebab dah ada kemasinan telur tadi tuh.
