Lai Po Heen @ MO

craving for Chinese Cuisine out of sudden. previously kalau nak makan masakan cina yang sedap dan tak mahal sangat, i'll go to Mohd Adam Ali Restaurant in Puchong. tapi disebabkan restoran tu betul2 terletaknya kat depan office ex-boyfriend aku... hmmm lupakan jelah niat nak ke sana. walaupon butter prawn dia memang marvelous. next option is MinMax Restaurant at PNB Darby Park - they are serving pork-free dim sum... tak pasti la whether dim sum dia sesedap dim sum kat Islamic Centre in Hong Kong. tapi makan dim sum jela.... well, maybe some other time.

Let's go to Hang Li Po Restaurant, oppsss Lai Po Heen Restaurant at Mandarin Oriental Hotel, next to KLCC. nak makan mahalll neh hu hu hu

we ordered two different sets. mine is Jade Set Menu @ RM 220.00
Baked eggplant filled with cheese tuna &
Chilled arctic clam with Thai dressing
Braised abalone, fish maw & crab meat with rich chicken broth
Steamed omega rich grouper fillet with golden mushroom & fungus
supposedly i'm having an oven roasted chicken roll with Mumbai spices, but i changed the menu to:-
Fresh and tender butter prawn served with oat ape2la
Braised egg noodle with smoked duck breast, pearl clam & pickled lettuce
As for dessert, mine is Sweetened rich soya milk with snow fungus and Oolong Chinese Tea.

and my partner is having the expensive set which is Ruby Set Menu @ RM 336.00
Pan fried scallop with citrus peach salsa,
Steamed smoked duck breast with luffa melon & abalone sauce and
Chilled arctic surf clam with Thai dressing
Double boiled black chicken soup with American ginseng
Steamed atlantic cod with chopped chili paste & ginger paste
we also changed the oven roasted chicken roll Mumbai spices with butter prawn

Fried rice with foie gras topped with slow cooked abalone

as for the desserts;
Black sesame panna cotta with apricot sorbet =)
Cantonese steamed sponge cake with brown sugar

plus... Jasmine Tea

UPDATE : now PNB Perdana Hotel & Suites on the Park
actually the MinMax Dim Sum Restaurant is not inside the PNB Perdana Hotel.
It is located behind the hotel. And honestly, the Dim Sum at Sime Darby Convention Centre (China Treasures) is much more better and delicious than MinMax Restaurant.
