South KOREA - Day 5

Last day in South Korea… ;(

Early check-out at 830am. Oh ya, South Korea is GMT+9 which mean 1 hour ahead from Malaysia time. Nothing much on the last day. And our flight back to KL is at 4:30pm

Pass by the War Memorial Museum.
Breakfast at Itaewon Street, again.. but Mr. Kebab for this time. There are two Mr. Kebab at the same street, one at the corner at the mainroad. And we dine at the other one in front of Taj Palace Restaurant. 1 set of Kebab with rice is at 10,000 won. FYI, Halal food in Korea is really pricey. Mr Kebab is a Turkish Cuisine; we enjoyed to watch their ‘Ice Cream performance’. “Istanbul Aku Datang” has 1 scene where Lisa & Beeto are buying that ice cream in Istanbul. But the original show is longer than what have shown in that movie. I can’t remember the price, maybe RM10 per cone. Well, we pay extra for the skill too. and they said this Turkish ice cream can turn upside down without falling nor melting.

I bought a @RM350 local supplement (60pcs) extracted from “Hoganbo” or Hovenia – fruit from a Japanese raisin tree. Good for liver protection and clearance; especially for those who are frequent medicine consumption like myself (thyroid). It’s in a capsule form and the taste just like tamarind. After that, we visited the Ginseng Shop at Jongno-gu to learn more about their local Taekuk Ginseng. Well, it’s too expensive for me to purchase. But my friend asked me to buy her a Chito Peeling Spray, only available at the Korean Ginseng Shop. And also the JEIL Amethyst duty free shop. I’m not buying any gems stone.. tak mampu… They told me that my birthstone is Topaz, but last time in Thailand, they told me mine is yellow Sapphire. So, which one is correct? Lantak pii lah, bukan percaya sangat pon. Jenis batu pon aku tak kenall.  Anyhow, the promoter is a bit rude. mencik!

The most popular Hello Kitty café is at Hongdae (nearby TrickEye Museum). But we went to the other one at ShinchonCoffee and cookies already included in our package. Everything is pinky and cutie *sayang nk makan*. They are selling the Hello Kitty merchandise as well. Luckily I’m not a Hello Kitty’s fan – for me it is a cat with no mouth. have you notice? Oh ya, there’s a big Hello Kitty Island Museum & Café in Jeju, completes with park, 3D multiplex, theme park, gallery, hologram, miniature, library and many more; for 12,000 won per adult per entry.

After done feeling like a child, we went shopping to the nearby Shinchon ladies shopping street; just a walking distance from the Hello Kitty Café. It’s at the further up from the big Megabox building. I'd spent almost 70,000 won for the cosmetic products at the Etude House. Apparently it is way cheaper than in KL (such as the moisturizer is at 18K won, selling price in KL is RM 99.90 - better grab during sales, with less 30%). I also got lots of free gifts! Thanks Etude House. Thanks Lee Min Ho *tetibe*

Final stop before to the Incheon Airport, we stopped at Cheongha Department Store for Korean Product duty-free Shop. We went to the 1st floor first for the dried food such as dried seaweed, seaweed based snacks and other local snacks. Actually it’s quite pricey; the range is from 6,000 – 10,000 won per small pack, fixed price!. While at the ground floor is for t-shirts and other souvenirs. Along bought EXO’s original album – I can’t remember how much but she said it’s very cheap compared in KL. And I bought myself a Yogurt facial form at 5,000 won and a cute couple clip for my boyfriend hahaha finishing all of my Korean Won's small notes.

Arrived and check-in at the Incheon Airport before 3pm, repacked our stuff with the new shopping items. Amazed with the advanced directory (skrg Nü Sentral also use this kind of technology). Oh ya, please don’t take any escalator down cause there’s NO escalator UP. To kill time before boarding, last minute shopping at the airport, we found out that the cosmetic products here is cheaper, but doesn't have many choices. For example, ‘Etude House’ super collagen moisturizer sold at USD15, I bought at the Shinchon at KRW18,000. *rugi seploh hengget*  To add our collection, we bought the pore minimizer from ‘It’s Skin’ only at USD8; while BB Plaza KL is selling the same item at RM50. We also kill time at the CD & DVD store *layan gambar2 artis* . The flight board on time. And they were serving 2x meals onboard for this route *yay*

Gamsa Hamnida & Anyeonghigaesayo

Perasan tak?? Annyeonghasaeyo and Anyeonghigaesayo 's spelling looks similar. But actually Annyeonghasaeyo means Hello while Anyeonghigaesayo means Good Bye -- according to my sista

I’ve paid RM 3,339 for the fullboard package, preparation (winter cloth, boots, warmer, gloves etc) around RM 500 (borrowed the Kitschen winter cloth from Fatiha) and another RM 1000++ for shopping in South Korea. Total lost is almost RM 5,000. Abes dah my saving money

** while waiting for our turn (ramai orang) at the supplement shop, we saw the self-service car wash. The place is only provides washing space and water supply. The car owner needs to bring their own cleaning kit and tools. But the space & water usage cost them around 10,000 won. In M’sia, we can get the car wash to do A-Z job for us for less than RM10. Ahhhh standard of living in Seoul is too high.
