Indonesia Airport Tax

x silap aku yg baru setahun jagung keje in this tourism industry, dulu... most countries in this world do charge the airport tax, before the visitor taking the flight out. but then (im not sure when effected), only Indonesia still applies this, while other countries already includes the taxed in the air ticket.

please dont finish all of your Indonesian Rupiah before back to your home country or your next destination cause you'll be needed to pay the airport tax at the airport before go thru the immigration counter. USD also accepted in most airports.

i think the increasing of the taxes is because they need to cover back the cost of building the new airport. ok la tu,,, for our own good jugak. as long as its convenience, comfortable, clean, big, with air-conditioned etc

sample of old airport tax. cantik x aku edit??
new one siap printed pax name

Tax payment counter at Bali new airport

Bandara (Bandar Udara) = Airport
Kuala Namu Airport is new airport in Medan. code : KNO. old airport code : MES
the old airport in Lombok is at Mataram (code : AMI), dlu only Merpati Air have direct flight from KL to Lombok.
Jakarta Airport : Soekarno hatta @ Cengkareng (CGK), tax @ IDR 150,000.
Bandung Airport : Husein Sastranegara (BDO), tax IDR 75,000.
still have more than 10 airports in Indonesia

UPDATE as on 6th March 2015
Kindly note that the airport authorities of Indonesia and Philippines have REMOVED the collection of passenger service charge (PSC) at the check-in counters at their airports for travel effective 1st Mar 2015 for Indonesia and 1st Feb for Philippines.
