Lost World of Tambun

mission #1 - accomplished!!!

walaupon ada sedikit kebodohan disitu, when I decided to spend my weekend @ Lost World of Tambun on 1st Sep, a day after our National Day; without expecting I'll get stuck in a bad traffic jammed along the way from north to centre. it's a long holiday, my dear. wake up! but anyway, thanks to my loyal companion, 'along'... for being such a nice and responsible sister after she offering herself to drive home for 6 hours, and competing with other 'north people'. so sorry, my thyroid attacked!! totally 'kacau' our holiday. another kebodohan disitu when I've been so so stupid to against the flow at that manmade 'Adventure River'. memang sgt2 adventure r. padan la muka aku. "az, org kena thyroid ni cepat penat tau". end up, I have to cancel my greatest plan to introduce her with the famous 'mee kicap' - only in Ipoh and my favourite Limau Bali... but local people called it as "Limau Tambun". maybe because it's born in Tambun, not from Bali Indonesia.

even though this LWOT (not LOTR) is definitely out, not like what I expected.. especially its Water Park, aku frust! fortunately they are offering the best Hotspring ever! there's 4 areas, the 1st one is 40'c - the foot spa, 2nd is the Jacuzzi, the top of the world pool with 43'c. 3rd one is the emerald swimming pool and last but most satisfied one is the sauna room @ Steam Cave 45'c.

I love roller coaster and I've no idea that the 1st roller coaster in Perak is actually in LWOT. too bad, it was rainy. the other rides are not operated on that day I came. oklah, at least I experienced this kids stuff (roller coaster) for 3 round...

having lunch at Garden Terrace before enjoy the Water Park. not-so-enjoy as those with tracksuit is NOT allowed to slide. what the -tettt- !! anyhow, with tracksuit, I'm able to meet the animals at Petting Zoo. huh! meet mr cobra, mr peacock, sir tiger aum!!! they said, that 2 tigers has been found and originally from the jungle behind the theme park.

after covering half-park by walking, we just found out that there's a tram provided. hmmm. it's ok, positively I can enjoy sightseeing in 2 ways - by walk and by tram. thanks! the tram took us to view the Swan Valley (the paddle boat is optional), the Tin Valley + Teambuilding, and of course, the Petting Zoo. at Tin Valley, 'we' learn bout the historical stuff of Perak. old stuff, mining stuff, the old maps, the founder... etc etc etc

oh ya, it's one-time paid for above attractions that cost me @ RM 38/pax - Matta Fair price. walk-in rate @ RM 48/adult. i love the free parking, i love the one-day use locker, i love the toilet & shower, i love the facilities, i love the cleanliness. tu jek

LWOT is a member of Sunway Group but i've never been to Sunway Lagoon...., and there's Lost World Hotel right in front of the theme park. from KL, it takes 2hrs drive and i'm taking exit Ipoh (toll @RM25++)

overall : ok lah
