Back-2-Back Trip (CHIANG MAI/SriLanka/Phuket)

Date Destination Subject
1 -    4 May Chiang Mai, Thailand Lead group (Azzat&Izzat Advocates & Silicitors)
10 - 14 May Sri Lanka FAM Trip     (Srilankan Airlines)
17 - 19 May Phuket, Thailand Lead group (SKG Beauty Sdn Bhd)

bunyik macam seronok jek jalan2 ni kan? balik dr trip, pegi trip lagi... balik dr trip tu, pegi trip lain plak. yeah!! sonok mmg sonok tp baaaaaapak penat. bukan jek pnat bgon awal sbb nk g airport, pnat berjalan, 'poket penat' and plg buat aku penat is pack-unpack-pack-unpack-pack-unpack. 3kali trip means 3kali la pack and unpack jwb nye. haaa itulah masalah terbesar aku sbb aku x suke n x reti n lemah bab packing baju ni. slalunye kalau nk pegi trip, aku akan pack brg2 aku seminggu awal. bukak zip luggage > campak baju > campak toiletries.. pastu tgok itinerary.. "eh, baju ni x payah bwk la" tarik kluar pastu "eh, nanti x cukup baju pulak" sumbat baju lagi... pastu "beg mcm berat jek, kluarkan 2 helai baju la"... smpai seminggu bru puas ati dan senyap2 tarik baggage pegi trip. dalam hati, gile berat beg aku.. pnat seyyy... especially bile aku kena tarik luggage 15kg ni selama 15mins dr parking RM16/day to Terminal LCC vice versa. nak murah punye pasal :'(

itulah al-kisah nya antara aku, travel baggage dan dot dot dot. rase2nye spjg aku keje travel agency ni, da lebih 60kali aku naik flight... tapi isu packing stuff lum lagi sebati dlm diri ni. *panjangnye mukadimah* alahaiii

Chiang Mai 1st - 4th May
my 7th time to Chiang Mai.. the weather is damn hot *global warming*... similar like in KL, hot and stuffy during days and start raining in the late evening. tot i can see the tulips this time :'( sorry, there's no flowers during this season at Royal Flora Garden, you only can see those green leaves.. and for the 1st time, i desired to watch what they called - a Tiger Show or Thai Girl Show.. unfortunately, this hot season (May) makes the young sexy ladies off to Krabi / Phuket. hmmm do you know what is a Thai Girl Show? it is a adult weird performance, for me. those girls are using their -sensored- to open a Coca-Cola bottles, somehow the blades came out for their -sensored- and shocking when a bird also flew out from their -sensored- etc. wont explain in details cause im not into it. oh ya, know what? for the first time i'd experienced a 3 hours flight delayed where we actually get in the flight (and i'd slept for couple of minutes) then the captain made an announcement telling that we need to get-off the flight back to the terminal. for about half an hour later, we get-in the same flight but there's another technical problem then we finally took another aircarft flew to Chiang Mai. what a day! i woke up that morning at 3am and we only take-off by 10am. ok, enough telling you about the bad stuff happened.
however, the best part is we went to the Night Safari, next to Royal Flora Garden. not included in the itinerary so we are not entering the place, just mingle around outside and having so much fun with the tame deer, giraffe, parrots and... a tiger. aum!!! last time in Bangkok, i just given chance to hold the tigers' tails. but this time "yeay" i can cuddle them while feeding with a bottle of milk. shivering obviously for that 2 valuable minutes; "i'm scared!!" cause his paw already damn heavy. "Ya Allah, spare my life please".
FYI, Chiang Mai is located in the Northern of Thailand. and Chiang Rai (Rai means old, while Mai new - new city); is 2-3hours far from Chiang Mai, located at the Golden Triangle of Thai/Myanmar/Laos. the famous place for Opium. those who loves and a big fan of Lee Ming Ho, the star of City Hunter; this is the Golden Triangle mentioned in that K-Drama. in term of foods, the taste of Tom Yum is slightly different. as well as other cuisine compared with in Bangkok / Phuket or Krabi. Halal restaurants available are : Ruammit, Fong Ming (located at Sankhampheang) and Jen Pao (they never had improve their service). and before this, i'd also having meals at Bisminla (a small roadside restaurant but they are serving the best ox-tail soup ever!),
This is the basic travel information i gave to my clients:-
the one and only flight fly to Chiang Mai from KL is Air Asia; for 3 hours journey by air. and this time i stayed at Royal Princess Hotel (Dusit Group) where located exactly at the Night Bazaar. the bazaar with thousand shops opens daily from 5pm until midnight. there's a Anusarn Street but we call it as a "Arab Street" cause over there we can find a plenty of Arab food available - Roti Canai and Nasi Briyani for our supper? hehehe
we are having a normal itinerary which covers the City Tour, Mae Sa Elephant Camp + Elephant Ride, Orchid Farm (lovely hand-made accessories made from real orchid), Zoo (too see Panda, Koala and animal show), Baan (village) Tawai Wood Carving, Karen Long Neck Village (i visited other village this time), Boat Cruise at Mae Ping River and Home Industries at Sankamphaeng for Hand-Painting Umbrellas, hand-made Gems, Honey and hand-made Sinawatra Silk. Since the going flight has been delayed for 3hrs, we didn't make it to visit Baan Hor; the Muslim Community. and due to hot weather, we skipped to visit the Leather Shop and Robinson Mall.

i wish to enter the Aquarium as they said it's way much better with Aquaria KLCC. unfortunately... we received a bad news from the Zoo
ประกาศ !   เชียงใหม่ซูอควาเรียม  ได้ปิดปรับปรุงด้านกระแสไฟฟ้า (ปิดบริการตั้งแต่เดือนเมษายน - 31 พฤษภาคม 2556
translate as : the Chiang Mai Zoo Aquarium will be temporary closed for electricity maintenance till 31st May 2013.
i heard it's because of short circuit. by the way, the entrance fee is around THB420 per person
