What a Wonderful World: my North Trip (Hatyai/Krabi/Perlis)

bukan keje gile kalau aku pegi Krabi all the way from Kuala Lumpur naik bermacam2 jenis pengangkutan. bile dah slalu sgt naik flight (as i count, aku da naik kapal terbang sebanyak 60 kali since 2009 *muke berlagak*), sometimes terasa nak try naik other transportation la plak. try la, you may like it if you think you are an adventurous person. *sounds like i'm that kinda person, but frankly speaking this is my first time* backpacker in making =) NO advance booking, NO proper tour, NO guide, nothing! and alhamdulillah, yes i made it! and here's my story

20Dec2012: dr rumah, aku tumpang kete 'along' smpai KL Sentral (dia keje sane), then i took a cab to Pudu (7:40am). wow, Pudu skrg da sgt2 cantik & convenience. dpt bus ticket to Lumut at 9am. ramai lak foreigner yg excited nk g Pangkor.

all the way to Lumut , mcm biasa layan view of the paddy field. tgok suke la, nk masok sawah... errr ada pacat, kn? smpai Lumut (2pm), my friend pick me up (kete) and drove straight to Bukit Kayu Hitam,
via Taiping + Prai + Alor Setar etc.. Sampai pon border (7pm) ~~

park kete kat Zon, then jalan sket masuk Thai border (sanggop jalan kaki cause x nak naik motor, kena bayar!). uncle imigresen tu nk charge 2hengget sbb dia buat OT - dah kul 8pm that time. tp aku ckp aku ada singget jek. hehe leh bargain. phew! sebaek dia bg aku msok Thai. after that, naik van service to Hatyai. jaoh gak Dannok to Hatyai, dlm sejam gitu. aku ckp kat van driver, aku nk turun kat Lee Garden Hotel. smpai situ, baru ktrg carik budget hotel. check-in kat Florida Hotel. byk hotel bajet, dont worry la. klu bajet up sket, leh stay kat Tune/Grand Sakura/Golden Crown/Diamond Plaza/Lee Garden etc. Florida ni so-so jek, n quite far from night market. letak beg, solat jap troz kluar pi night market

night market tu area Lee Garden Hotel (tmp kena bom dlu), ada Pink Lady Complex & food stall. Hatyai ramai Muslim, so Halal food sng giler nak dpt. ada Salma Rstn & Hamid Rstn, tp harga mahal giler, okeh! lepak smpai kul12midnight, then balik naik 'tuk tuk' .

21Dec2012 : pagi2 check-out and troz g carik transportation. i've been to Krabi, so actually plan nk try g Songkhla, tp taxi jek yg ada... mahalla. so change plan to Krabi. naik van kul10am yg sempit with other passenger's big luggage. tak jumpa yang murah mcm org cakap (250Baht+70Baht); ktrg jumpa yang 280Baht+100Baht jek. on the way to Krabi tu, which takes 5hours journey (maybe kalau driver van tu x singgah sume tmp amek komisen transfer brg, maybe journey tu jdk 4jam jek kot) - smpai b'gadoh org2 dlm van tuh. selamat smpai gak ke Krabi Town kul3ptg. ktrg bayar smpai ke Ao Nang Beach, so another half an hour, smpai la ktrg ke Ao Nang. check-in at View La Villa, a guesthouse (no window). then, jalan2 carik makan n lepak kat pantai tgok sunset. mcm biase, i enjoyed the Thai massage after penat jalan2 kat night market & walking street.

22Dec2012 : terbangun lambat sbb bilik xde tingkap (bawah tanah), syiok jek tdo. then, termissed van transfer to Hatyai. have to take a 'tuk tuk' to the bus station, and take a bus back to Hatyai. harga murah few baht but the journey a bit longer. xpela cause actually lg selesa compared with naik van yg sempit tuh. benti kat Trang, makan n lepak jap while bus driver refill minyak.

sampai Hatyai bus station at 630pm. lepak makan nasi kerabu dlu, then dpt 1 kete yg leh bwk ktrg pegi Floating Market & Dannok. great! xyah dah carik hotel kat situ sbb Hatyai ni xde pape, 1 mlm aritu dah cukup utk aku. sgt seronok di Klong Hae Floating Market (Damnoen Saduak) ni. x smpai stgh jam dr bus station tu. bukak kul 2pm cmtu smpai mlm, Fri - Sunday only. hujan time aku pegi aritu, so lepak sejam cukup la. beli air kelapa dlm bekas tanah liat yg sgt cute itu, jdk la souvenir utk diri sndirik... floating market ni x sebesar yg kat Ratchaburi, Bangkok tu. sederet jek, tp sume Halal - itu yg penting.

troz carik hotel. duk kat SP Hotel. then, mcm biase... jalan2 carik makan n shopping2 sket. since Dannok ni kat sempadan, most of local people can speak Bahasa (loghat utara) and accept Ringgit Malaysia.

23Dec2012 : chek-out, pegi bazaar kat border jap. saja.. cuci2 mata. pastu troz cross the border back to Malaysia... amek kete kat Zon, and shopping duty free sket. masuk2 M'sia kena bayar toll. hehehe... then....

ke Perlis pulak kite... pegi Gua Kelam! sejam stgh cmtu smpai la kat Gua Kelam. aku igtkan Gua Kelam ni sekadar 'gua' tp rupe2nye ada tmp rekreasi, tgok ramai org dtg mandi manda. what a nice place. next time boleh la aku hiking kat sini lak - banjaran Nakawan. x puas jalan lg, kite ke border Wang Kelian / Satun plak .. masuk border klu jalan kaki xde check passport ke pape.. at Satun, there's more than 100stall i think, murah2 but i'm not buying. yg kat Wang Kelian x byk sgt, mcm pasar malam sket tp of course lg bersih n kemas compared dgn Satun punye.

dah puas jln2 kat Kangar baru gheti pennat, jom la balik KL. dgn selamatnya sampai KL on 24th Dec, a day before Christmas. Alhamdulillah... tak jem. next time nk plan g Hatyai naik train dr KL Sentral lak. one train per day available kul9mlm cmtu for 13hrs journey. ada bran??
